Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 58(1) of the Rules of Order regulating the conduct of meetings of the Council read together with Section 12(3)(b) of the Systems Act no 32/2000 that the Local Council of Beaufort West intends to accept the following by-law:-

Notice No. 30/2017: VOTE AGAIN FOR YOUR WARD COMMITTEE

Beaufort West Municipality is in the process to establish Ward Committees in all Wards in terms of Section 72 - 78 of the Local Government Municipal Structures Act, Act No 117 of 1998. The submission of candidate nominations will close on 11 March 2017. Notice is hereby given that Ward Committee elections are scheduled to take place in all wards on the dates as stipulated in the attached notice.
