Abstracted and brought to water purifying works, purified and stored in three reservoirs, with a capacity of 14.85 mega liter from where it is reticulated.
Cost of purifying water is approximately R0.931 per kilo liter.

Annual abstraction:
Gamka Dam - 500 000 kilo liter
Boreholes - 1 649 481 kilo liter

Full capacity of Gamka Dam is 1 804 798 m3 .
